GECO STAR heißt die neueste Entwicklung von GECO.
Das bleifreie Deformationsgeschoss zeichnet sich durch maximale Tiefenwirkung und hohes Restgewicht aus. Dank Hohlspitze deformiert das neue STAR Geschoss zuverlässig auf nahezu alle jagdlichen Entfernungen. Auch verfügt das Geschoss über eine hohe Eigenpräzision, die insbesondere durch die eingebauten Geschossrillen (Performance Grooves) sichergestellt wird. Das GECO STAR ist damit das optimale Geschoss für alle, die bleifrei jagen wollen oder müssen und gleichzeitig Wert auf gute Wildbretverwertung legen.
Das Geschoss eignet sich insbesondere für die Jagd auf leichtes bis mittleres Wild.
Nach erfolgreichen Labortest auf ballistische Seife wurden 25 professionelle Jäger mit dem GECO STAR ausgerüstet. Nach erfolgreicher Jagdsaison wurden über 550 Abschussberichte analysiert und ausgewertet. Die Ergebnisse auf Reh-, Schwarz- sowie auf Rotwild zeigen, dass das GECO STAR als dynamisches bleifreies Deformationsgeschoss zuverlässig wirkt und eine sehr gute Alternative zu bleihaltigen Geschossen ist.
