Diese Patrone wurde als Fangschussmunition für die Jagd, aber auch für die Anwendung zur Selbstverteidigung entwickelt.
Die
GECO 9 mm Luger Hollow Point Patrone kombiniert hervorragende zielballistische Eigenschaften mit mittlerer Eindringtiefe und geringem Risiko der Überpenetration. Sie ist optimiert für kurzläufige 9 mm Luger Pistolen.
Die besten Ergebnisse werden in einem Geschwindigkeitsbereich zwischen 305 m/s und 350 m/s erzielt.
In diesem Bereich können Eindringtiefen von 30 cm bis 33 cm erzielt werden. Diese Ergebnisse konnten im bedeckten FBI-Test mehrfach belegt werden.
Die Expansion des Geschosses liegt durchschnittlich in einem Bereich von 15 mm mit nahezu 100 Prozent Restgewicht.
Die kleinste Verpackungseinheit enthält 20 Schuss.
