KEPPELER Germany Single Shot Rifle Mod. 300m Standardgewehr K05-S 6mm BR/.308 Win./.223 u.a.

The standard rifles (with metal stock K05-S or with surcharge also with walnut stock´) are based on the free rifles and were especially designed for the needs of a standard rifle. The weight of both standard rifles is compared to the free rifles reduced to approx. 5.0 kg.

Both standard rifles have a one-piece, square, bolt action. The bolt locks with seven locking lugs right after the chamber. The travel of the firing pin was designed to the shortest possible standard to reduce the lock time. The action is angular and thick-walled. Wall-thicknesses up to 12 mm lead to high stiffness and torsional rigidity.

The standard rifles have the following features:
- Free-floating, heavy 650 mm match barrel
- Easy loading and taken out of cases due to perfectly designed opening window
- Short firing pin travel and therefore a very short lock time
- 1.5 kg Anschütz match trigger with safety lever
- 210 mm long, 11 mm dove tail on the action to fit common rear sights or scopes with our Keppeler scope mounting
- Unique horizontal adjustment for the sights: The dove tails for the rear sight and the front sight can be offset sideways. Thus the sights can be adjusted to the shooting position and the position of the head. In doing so, a tension-free head position can be achieved.

The Keppeler 300m standard rifles are suitable for the ISSF disciplines 300 m standard rifle 3x20. They are also allowed for the ISSF disciplines 300 m prone, 300 m 3x40 (men), and 300 m 3x20 (women). The standard rifles are the only 300 m rifles, which are allowed for all ISSF disciplines. In the ISSF disciplines calibers up to 8 mm are allowed.

Keppeler 300 m standard rifle with the metal stock K05-S is based upon our Keppeler free rifle with the metal stock K05-F. The metal stock is especially designed for full bore shooting. The stock is equipped with a curved rubber butt plate, which is adjustable sideways and in height.

Further calibers are available on request. The rifles are available with 650 mm barrels or with 550 mm barrels with a tube or. Left-hand design is available against surcharge.

The rifle is delivered without sights. We recommend the use of Anschütz sights 7020.
