Sauer & Sohn is the oldest active hunting weapon manufacturer in Germany and comes like our ancestors from Suhl (Thuringia). Sauer & Sohn has been producing barrels from Krupp-Stahl since 1893. The three rings of the Krupp coat of arms are reflected in the logo and have become the hallmark of legendary precision. With more than 330,000 sold rifles, Sauer is Germany's largest manufacturer of repeating rifles in the post-war period. In 2009, the owner separated the hunting and sports weapons departments and moved Sauer hunting weapons to Isny to Blaser and Mauser.
