Diese Lampe aus dem Walther PRO-Sortiment arbeitet mit einem Akku 14500. Auf Knopfdruck wechselt die PL55r (wie alle Pro-Lampen) von 100 auf 40 oder 10 Prozent Leistung, wobei alle Werte der strengen ANSI-FL1 Norm entsprechen. Ein Knopfdruck länger als 0,5 Sekunden löst den "Tactical Defense Strobe" aus, einen Abwehr-Stroboskopmodus im 20-Hz-Takt. Die aufladbare PL55r holt 650 Lumen aus einem Lithium-Ionen-Akku 14500 (3,7 V) und einem Cree-Chip XP-L. Die Lampe ist spritzwassergeschützt (IPX4) und kommt komplett mit Holster, USB-Ladekabel und Akku (das Aufladen des Akkus geschieht direkt an der Lampe)
