VOLQUARTSEN Exact-Edge Extractor for S&W M41

The Exact Edge Extractor is manufactured through an EDM process to produce exacting tolerances.
The new extractor will not lose its edge under impact such as other extractors made from stamped steel or titanium that will have their edges roll over and actually cause extraction problems after a short period of use. Our extractor features a very precise hook point. It is hardened to a Rc 58~~60 to withstand years of use and still maintain its edge. We are able to hold the tolerances to +/~~.0001" by utilizing the EDM manufacturing process. The hook is .005" closer to the rim of the cartridge to allow for the most positive extraction available. Made of A2 tool steel.

VOLQUARTSEN

The traditional family business V Custom, Inc., which is still based in Carroll, Iowa, today manufactures an almost unbelievable range of rimfire rifles and pistols as well as accessories of its own development, which are unrivalled in terms of quality, reliability and precision. For each Volquartsen firearm and weapon part, only the highest quality materials and the most modern manufacturing methods - paired with traditional gunsmithing craftsmanship - are used to guarantee the high quality standards. A Volquartsen firearm is manufactured by a single gunsmith from start to finish, who is not only responsible for the selection of materials, but also subjects them to extensive test shooting after final assembly. Only when all technical requirements and criteria have been satisfactorily fulfilled does the gun leave the factory. A product from Volquartsen does indeed deserve the designation "custom-made"!
